
Trekking
For individuals interested in trekking and sight-seeing after the conference; the itinerary has been set as:

1 | 11/25 | Leave Kathmandu (1400 m) for Phedi (1130 m) via bus, trek to Dhampus (1750 m), and spend night there. |
2 | 11/26 | Leave Dhampus, arrive in Landruk (1900 m), study culture and environment of this mountainous community, and spend night there. |
3-4 | 11/27-28 | In the morning head to Ghandruk (2012 m) and learn about rich Gurung civilization and their natural resource management practices for two days. |
5 | 11/29 | Leave Ghandruk, arrive in Ghorepani (2874 m), and spend night there. |
6 | 11/30 | Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3210 m) and trek down to Pokhara (650 m). |
7 | 12/1 | Tour picturesque city of Pokhara, including visit to Phewa Lake, paragliding, and some culturally and geologically significant landmarks. |
8 | 12/2 | Take early morning flight to Kathmandu and free day. |
9 | 12/3 | Leave Nepal. |
10 | 12/4 | Reach U.S. and other home destinations. |
Cost = Only $999 for per person!
15% discount may apply for an additional family member and the discount will be 20% for two or more family members joining the excursion.
Private tour guides are available with minimal charge in Pokhara and Kathmandu. Participants are responsible for trekking gears and the cost doesn’t include alcohol, tips, souvenirs, and paragliding fees in Pokhara.
